Zeta Beta Tau at UCF visits Arnold Palmer Hospital

In 2002,  Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was named the official adopted philanthropy of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, encouraging chapters across the country to connect with and support their local CMN hospital. At the University of Central Florida, The Delta Iota chapter of Zeta Beta Tau have embraced CMN Hospitals and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children as a priority charity partner as they strive to make a positive impact on the community. Each year, the members of ZBT hold multiple events to benefit various philanthropies and organizations, including their annual ZBT Get-On-The-Ball event which benefits CMN at Arnold Palmer Hospital.

These students are also very active in Knight-Thon, UCF’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon, and raised more than $35,000 for the 2017 event. Their team captain, Andrew Maurer, was Knight-Thon’s top fundraiser, and member Jesus Fernandez was named Mr. Knight-Thon 2017!

They continuously seek ways to further their partnership with Arnold Palmer Hospital, including educating their members by attending hospital tours like the one they took on Tuesday, November 7.

According to members, “As a brother of Zeta Beta Tau, we make helping others and making a difference, priorities in our lives.” We are grateful that they continue to choose to make a difference for the kids!
