Walmart & Sam’s Club Helps Change Kids’ Health in Central Florida

In late July, our friends at Walmart & Sam’s Club celebrated the completion of their annual 4-week register fundraising campaign benefiting Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The results are in and we are thrilled to announce that our incredible Central Florida stores and clubs raised $331,888.47 for sick and injured kids treated at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. We could not be more grateful to our amazing associates who continue to rally behind this campaign each year with enthusiasm and passion to change kids’ health and change the future.

Each time an associate asks a customer to donate to our local hospital, they are making a difference in the lives of children and families who are right here in our community. Changing kids’ health goes far beyond helping individual children and families, it’s also about research, preventive care, health and safety education and other support services that help build healthier communities today and tomorrow.

So thank you, Walmart & Sam’s Club across Central Florida, for being change-makers for the 135,000 patients treated at our hospital each year. Because of you, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer will remain ready and capable of treating each and every child in need of the services only our hospital can provide. You have positively impacted our hospital and community for years to come.
