Cookies & Milk, Holiday Stockings Bring Joy to Arnold Palmer Hospital Thanks to Walmart and Nabisco

It’s not every day you see an extra large Oreo roaming the halls of a hospital, but on Thursday, December 14, that’s exactly what happened at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. As part of an effort to make the holidays a little more special for the patients and families in the hospital, our partners at Mondelez International coordinated an Oreo & Milk party with Nabisco and Walmart.

Patients, families and team members all came down to the to enjoy Oreos and milk and even got to take pictures with Stuffy, the Oreo mascot!

Even Samson – one of the Orlando Health pet therapy dogs – couldn’t resist a photo op with milk’s favorite cookie!

Along with the cookies & milk, there was even more to celebrate. Thanks to Nabisco and Walmart, our hospital accepted more than $40,000 worth of holiday stockings filled to the brim with toys and gifts to be donated to Santa’s Workshop at Arnold Palmer Hospital.

Boxes and boxes of 8 foot stockings arrived at Santa’s Workshop at Arnold Palmer Hospital full of toys to be delivered to boys and girls of all ages. Thankfully, volunteer elves from Orlando City Soccer Club were on hand to sort through all of the toys while Santa was hard at work in North Pole, preparing for the big day.

We are so thankful for our partnership with Nabisco & Walmart and are grateful for their generous donation and support of CMN Hospitals and Arnold Palmer Hospital. Thank you for bringing such a sweet treat to our team members and patients!
