Panda Express Celebrates Panda Cares Day at Seacrest Studios!
Panda Cares®, the philanthropic arm of Panda Express, commemorates its anniversary on August 8 every year. Join us in recognizing Panda’s impact on Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by celebrating Panda Cares Day on Tuesday, August 8! On this day, local Panda Express restaurants will be donating 25% of online and mobile app orders with code PCD2023 to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children!
Leading up to Panda Cares Day, local associates celebrated this special anniversary by hosting Panda Express themed bingo in the Seacrest Studio at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer! Associates helped call out the bingo images, answered phones for patients calling in with bingo and recognized winners with Panda Express goodies and gift cards! Thank you to Panda Express for bringing smiles and good fortune to our patients in the Seacrest Studio!
Support from Panda Express has directly impacted Teen Xpress at The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. Teen Xpress is a unique school-based mobile healthcare unit that provides free medical and mental health care services to underserved, uninsured and at-risk students of several low-income middle and high schools in Orange County.
By providing these services for free, Teen Xpress has been supporting the well-being of teens in Orange County, including providing over 750 teens a safe place to receive medical care. Moving between select schools in Central Florida, this mobile health unit provides a variety of services, including:
- Physical exams (such as annual check-ups)
- Immunizations
- Vision screenings
- Help finding dental care
- Mental health counseling (for depression, stress and more)
- Nutrition counseling
- Treatment for common illnesses (colds, sore throats, asthma, etc.)
- In-Depth Diagnoses
