Orlando Ace Hardware Stores “Sleigh” During Holiday Round Up Campaign

Our partners at Ace Hardware work year-round to provide hope, healing and compassion to our children and families treated at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children – especially during the holiday season. Each year, our Ace stores across Central Florida turn on their round up function and ask their customers and associates to round up their transaction. With every ask of rounding up their transaction comes the opportunity for our community members to make a difference for our hospital. Because of our awesome associates asking and community members donating, our Ace stores just celebrated one of their most successful round up campaigns. 

During the months of November and December, our Central Florida Ace Hardware stores raised $56,465.71 – just cents at a time. That’s a lot of miracles! We continue to be amazed by the outstanding work done by our Ace Hardware teams. They are the red-vested heroes of Central Florida who go above and beyond to help kids in need, and they have fun while doing it too!  

Lewis Monteleone, Training Coordinator with Toole’s Ace Hardware, recently shared his love for rounding up: “I believe the round up campaign  is easiest to participate in. Communication and passion are so important to instill within our associates to ensure they understand how to ask and equip them to answer any customer questions regarding the hospital or campaign. Our policy is “ask every customer every time”. We want our customers to make the choice, not for us to make it for them.”
