Month of Miracles Friday Feature: RE/MAX Select

August is RE/MAX Month of Miracles where local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals thank and recognize the amazing support we receive every day from our local RE/MAX office and agents. To celebrate, each week we’ll be shining a spotlight on offices that have generously supported Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. This week we are highlighting RE/MAX Select in Oviedo, Florida. Gary Balanoff, Broker/Owner, shares why his office continues to contribute to CMN:

“When RE/MAX Select opened in May 2000, one of our founding principles was being a pillar of the community.  We were intrigued by RE/MAX’s participation in Children’s Miracle Network, and pledged to be a Miracle Office from the start.

For 18 years we have given thousands of dollars — small amounts to larger donations — from every closing to CMN, and our agents have been happy to contribute.  We did a recent tour of Arnold Palmer Hospital, and our agents were so touched by the work being done there, one of them decided to pledge $100 for every closing…making it known to her huge client base that she would do her usual excellent work for them, but that a significant amount was going to help babies and children going through tough medical issues.

The outpouring continues to grow and we are very thankful that every dollar raised goes directly to help heal children and that the culture of giving has spread throughout our organization.”
