Marriott’s Central Florida Business Council Hosts 2nd Annual Play Yellow Golf Tournament

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ (CMN Hospitals) Play Yellow initiative brings a community of golfers together for one purpose – to support the greatest area of need of their local member hospital.

After an exciting and very successful year in 2022, Marriott’s Central Florida Business Council was eager to host their Play Yellow Golf Tournament once again in support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. On April 3, during the early hours in the afternoon, golfers gathered in their yellow attire at the beautiful Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, located at Orlando World Center Marriott. Throughout the tournament, golfers had the opportunity to enjoy different activities on the course and met children and families whose lives have been changed through the care they received at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. Golfers made the day extra special by teaching the kids how to hit a ball and giving them a chance to try on the course!

The tournament culminated with an evening reception and an auction featuring a variety of vacation packages. Golfers heard from 2023 CMN Hospitals Champion, JP Lugo, and his family who shared how his life has been positively impacted through the ongoing care he has received from Orlando Health since he was a toddler. It was a wonderful afternoon, and thanks to the many generous sponsors and participants that supported the event, more than $86,000 was raised in support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer.
