Marriott Continues to Create Lasting Change Through Play Yellow Golf Tournament

Celebrating their third annual Play Yellow golf tournament the morning of April 8^th, Marriott’s Central Florida Business Council brought golfers together from near and far to play a game they love in support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Players gathered in their symbolic yellow attire, enjoyed various activities on the golf course, and had the opportunity to meet and spend time with patient families. Many golfers took the time to get to know the children and were a source of inspiration to them, not only by engaging them in the game of golf, but by sharing words of hope and encouragement.

Special guests included Aimee J. Daily, Ph.D., President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, playing her first Play Yellow golf tournament; and Jim Connelly, President, Marriott Full-Service East Region among many leaders, business partners and vendors of local Marriott properties across Central Florida.

Thanks to the generous support of participants and sponsors, the tournament had a record fundraising year with more than $106,000 raised in support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer.
