Flipping it Forward with IHOP’s Patient Pancake Party

The morning of Thursday, February 9 was filled with full hearts and lots of pancakes as our friends from IHOP, Sunshine Restaurant Partners visited Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children to host a pancake party for patients and families.

The IHOP team began their day by joining the Seacrest Studios morning show to invite patients and families to come down to their pancake party and share fun facts about some of the pancake flavors they serve in restaurants.

Then the real fun started at the pancake party! Patients were greeted by the IHOP team with a chef hat and made to order pancakes. Patients got creative by adding some of their favorite toppings including berries, sprinkles, whipped cream and more! Families enjoyed having a special pancake meal together, and patients enjoyed coloring activity pages and decorating their very own chef hats!

But that’s not all, to ensure all patients and families had the opportunity to enjoy IHOP’s delicious original buttermilk pancakes, the IHOP team made special deliveries to patient rooms for those unable to join them downstairs.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the team at IHOP, Sunshine Restaurants Partners for bringing this sweet treat to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer and for everything they did in restaurants to collect donations during their annual National Pancake Day Celebration. Thank you IHOP for flipping it forward and making a difference in our community!
