Delta Air Lines SkyWish: Giving Miles to Make Miracles

If you’ve ever had to book air travel on short notice or in an emergency, you know how stressful the process can be from an emotional and financial standpoint. Now, imagine that your child is ill and needs to be transported for lifesaving treatment. This is the reality faced by parents every day.

As the end of the year approaches, the need for families and kids to travel for necessary care continues. Since 1998, Delta has been a proud partner with CMN Hospitals, particularly with the Delta Air Lines SkyWish program. Through this program, parents are able to request miles to travel to member hospitals across the country for necessary care. In 2016 alone, over 2.1 million Delta miles were given to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and in turn, used by sick kids.
