Rock On: Walmart 1079 Creates Inspirational Rocks to Raise Awareness about CMN Hospitals

What began as The Kindness Rocks Project has spread across the country, becoming something even more meaningful for every community it enters.

For one Awesome Associate at Walmart 1079 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, it only made sense that these hand-painted rocks designed to spread inspiration and a moment of kindness for unsuspecting recipients could be a great tool during their annual CMN Hospitals campaign.

Painting the rocks with the words like Hope and Love, along with images of the CMN Hospitals Miracle Balloon logo and the campaign hashtag #helpkidslivebetter, Bonnie knew that her store could help raise funds and awareness for their local CMN hospital, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

When Sam Walton committed his company to CMN Hospitals back in 1987, he said “Our associates will amaze you.” Because of the hard-working and creative associates like Bonnie, they truly have, collecting raising nearly $1 Billion in those 30 years.

Customers can donate at a Walmart or Sam’s Club in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia or Flagler counties through October 29 to support Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
