Celebrating Panda Express and Lunar New Year

February 1, 2022, marks the beginning of Lunar New Year and the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese zodiac. Lunar New Year is one of the world’s biggest festivals centered around food, family and togetherness.

Since 2007, Panda Express has been making an impact at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising millions of dollars each year by asking guests to round-up at the register. Funds donated stay local and benefit patients and families in your community.

We once again join the associates and guests at Panda Express in celebrating this Lunar New Year and take a moment to recognize the immense impact they made on Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 2021. The fundraising efforts of Panda Express associates and guests help to ensure the healthcare needs of local children are met now and in the future at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Offered through The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Teen Xpress is a unique school-based mobile healthcare unit that provides complete medical and mental health care services to underserved, uninsured and at-risk students of low-income middle and high schools in Orange County. Teen Xpress helps to provide support and services in four focus areas including medical, mental health, dietary and case management.

By providing these services for free, Teen Xpress has been supporting the well-being of teens in Orange County with comprehensive healthcare for over 20 years. Thank you, Panda Express, for instilling a culture of giving and for providing teens in our community with access to this vital program. The video below shares more about Teen Express and the impact Panda Express is making on our community.

We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Panda Express and the many ways they help change kids’ health and change the future across the country.
